Misconstrue

Queer. Gay. Once upon a time they were adjectives. Evolution to a noun. Soon. Now. As a child, a kookaburra was gay, singing merrily in a tree. And the queer was the strange,
four-eyed classmate, out of the norm. Who defines definitions? Society. Family. Nature or Nuture.
Gay equals happiness in the voice from the birds. Queer equals strange, but what is normal? Preference is not defined by words. Preference is preferred.
