Time Melts

Do not sulk in hues of pale loneliness
as time exceeds, the less a broken heart weeps,
like the rebellion of adolescence.

Do not sink in a pity of salted sleep,
And dwell in a Black Sea of bliss
Harp no more; Dali’s melted clocks may bleed.

Do not gawk at wrinkles from the past.
Nights of gales soar like the passerine bird,
Dali’s painted hourglass drips loneliness—

Don’t sing a song of yesterday, sing “bonjour”
teardrops, falter like April’s rainy cries,
false lovers fade, contentment endures.

Dali’s dreams painted phobia in the sky,
do not live a dead dream, tigers parting fish
ascends loneliness, float red rose— fly!

Do not grant selfish & lonely love a wish,
give something, abandon the heart stranded.
Dali’s hands created love as a poisoned brush.

Age &Time mends deathly loneliness—
Rainbow moons pass, Venus burns again,
the candle for happiness & rebirth.

  1. This is awesome. Moving on is one of the hardest things that someone can go thru. Leave the past behind and keep moving forward. I need to stop being sad and start being happy for what I have and what I have done.
